Inserts & Liners

Liners are thin layers of cloth or paper used inside the diaper to assist in the cleanup of solid waste. Some liners are biodegradable or flushable and collect the waste and can either be thrown away or flushed. Cloth liners must have the solid waste knocked off and are washed with your diapers.

Liners also have the ever important use when you need to use a diaper cream. They are essential in protecting your diapers from the build up that can result from using wax based creams.

Diaper inserts are the thirsty core inside a pocket diaper. They are made from Bamboo, Hemp, Microfiber or Cotton. They can also be used as a doubler and placed inside a fitted or pocket diaper for extra absorbency power. However, inserts made of Microfiber should only be used inside of a pocket diaper and not right next to your baby's skin.

Doublers are added to a diaper to increase its absorbency. They can be used at night or with heavy wetters. Many inserts can be used as as doubler, with the exception of microfiber which should only be used within pocket diapers.
